THE CREATORS OF THE YANTRA PAINTINGS
The YANTRA PAINTINGS are the co-creation of husband and wife Viðar and Helga. Their home country is Iceland, the land of fire and ice, where opposites attract. The raw and unspoiled nature in Iceland has influenced their lives immensely, connected them to Oneness and played a big role in their lives journey together.
Soon after they met and fell in love they began traveling each summer to Arnarstapi, a small community at the roots of the powerful glacier Snæfellsjökull. There they chose to begin walking their spiritual paths together, in unity. So it was, from 1972 to 1982 they spent their summers studying and practicing yoga philosophies with Zophanias Peturson, swami Dhamananda, and his wife Stella.
HELGA'S ART OF THE SOUL
The arts have always been an integral part of Helga’s life. Her artistic abilities and talents surfaced when she was only a child and early on she started experimenting with different styles within visual arts.
Today Helga creates artwork centred on the beautiful all-embracing theme of One’s Higher Self found within our hearts and souls. Her solo artwork, she refers to as Art of the Soul, is enjoyed all over the world, in private homes as well as in private businesses and in official buildings.
Since 1991 Helga has been teaching her Colors of Light workshops, where through guided meditation she assists the participants to connect to the healing energies of colors. This process encourages the participants to open up their souls to the flow of creativity.

VIÐAR'S THETA FOR WELL-BEING
For decades Viðar has been working with the holistic well-being of individals. He has explored and practiced various forms and techniques as to enhance and enrich one’s life, the body-mind-spirit-heart paradigm.
In 1992 Viðar learned the Native American Sweat-Lodge Ceremony from the medicine man Somp-Noh Noh, of the Chukchchansi tribe. This practice connected Vidar on a deeper level to the cosmic aspects and connections of our existence. For a few years he regularly held Sweat-Lodges close to the capital Reykjavik, but also travelled the country, performing this sacred cleansing and healing ritual at powerful hidden locations for many to experience.
Viðar also worked as a masseur and later opened his practice in Reykjavik. Using his healing abilities he helped people to relax and to realign their physical bodies with their spirit and soul. After years of practice he wanted to go deeper and work with the root of his clients’ ailments and studied hypnotherapy and later the powerful tapping method EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique.

YANTRA PAINTINGS is owned and operated by Ljósbirting slf., a family company founded by Helga and Vidar and their two daughters Thorey and Helga Soley. The name Ljósbirting translates into English as 'Illumination' and/or 'Luminous Manifestation', i.e. manifestation that comes forth as light, through light.
